Custom mosaics, exciting design, masterful technique, and permanence are the hallmark of mosaics by Lou Ann Weeks.
Lou Ann Weeks is a mosaic artist who has earned the designation Master of Mosaico after her study at Orsoni School of Mosaics in Venice Italy. This is one of the most coveted distinctions of mosaic artists. The study in Italy is rich. It starts at the furnaces where glass is made and goes to the techniques used in enormous architectural installations.
Her works are held in private, corporate, and public collections and are represented by Art Gallery of Viera.
Notable works include the largest architectural installation in Brevard County, and probably the state of Florida. It is called “Spirit” and measures 16’ x 19’.
