LOCAL MOSAIC ARTIST SELECTED
TO PRESENT AT
THE LARGEST MOSAIC ART ORGANIZATION IN THE WORLD
Lou Ann Weeks, local Orlando Mosaic Artist, has been selected to present 2 workshops at the American Mosaic Summit 2013. This is the 12th annual conference for the Society of American Mosaic Artists (SAMA)and is being held at the Tacoma Convention Center, Tacoma, WA from April 10th through April 14th. SAMA is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating, inspiring and promoting excellence in mosaic art, with over 1,200 national and international members.
Lou Ann will be conducting a workshop entitled “Cutting Shapes with a Wet Saw” and “Creating Stained Glass Mosaics.” She has been a mosaic artist for over 13 years and has taught classes to young and old, alike. Her work is exhibited at art galleries and private collections, and she has completed many large mosaic public installations.
